Killing Yourself To Live

I didn't finish reading the book, but I pretty much liked what I read. I liked that it was humorous and that it did not follow the format of the traditional types of books that I've read in the past. I am not really big on reading books, I'd much rather watch movies instead but I do plan to finish the book because I thought that it was interesting. The thing that I didn't really like about the book was that I didn't know about any of the music that he referenced except the the Beyonce and Jay-Z song. I don't know if I should feel ashamed of that or not. I guess I shouldn't really be ashamed because I'm not really into rock at all. I knew a few of the names of people and groups that he talked about, but I really couldn't relate to that part. I do like his style of writing and I think that I would possibly read other books by him, as long as they are not based on rock.

  1. I didnt really know much of the music he mentioned either so dont feel ashamed :P I guess the era were in now is so much different that his so, oh well. (lol) I liked his style of writing, but i didnt really feel inspired by it. I don't think ill read another book from this author just because i didnt really like him. If i read a book, i need to be 100% sure that it will interest me. This one really didnt, but it was required so thats the only reason i felt obliged to read it.
